Royal Veterinary College

Spectrum was appointed to deliver the roof and wall cladding package for The Royal Veterinary College’s new Sports and Wellbeing Centre, at its Hawkshead campus in Hertfordshire.

The project comprises of a new two-storey indoor sports facility including sports hall, gym and aerobic dance studio.

The extensive scope of work carried out by Spectrum included Topdek roof panels, a composite facade complete with Siberian Larch timber and Tectiva fibre cement rainscreen.

The striking Siberian Larch cladding complements other buildings on the campus, where timber cladding has been used extensively for contemporary additions.

The finished result has exceeded expectations and demonstrates what can be achieved when good design is combined with simple high quality materials.
